As 2025 quickly approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on topics and takeaways from several of my blog posts this year. If you haven’t had a chance to read the articles yet, this will give you an at-a-glance view of what they covered and the insight I offered. And with the links conveniently assembled in this post, you can read the full articles at your leisure when you have some downtime over the holiday season.

  1. Stagnant Cash Flow? How to Turn the Tide – Even profitable businesses can run into major issues if they have poor cash flow. In this article, I explain why a healthy cash flow is so critical, strategies for increasing cash flow, and how the EOS® 8 Cash Flow Drivers™ tool can help strengthen your bottom line.

Key Takeaway: Cash flow is the lifeblood of your business. Every decision and action you make affects your cash flow and profitability.

  1. How to Get the People Component® Right in Your Organization Part 1 and Part 2 – Over 80% of most companies’ issues originate from not having the right people in the right seats. This blog series explains how to use the EOS People Analyzer® tool and The Accountability Chart® together to effectively get to the root of your people issues and address them.

Key Takeaway: People issues can occur either when a team member behaves inconsistently with your company culture or when they don’t GWC (Get it, Want it, Have the Capacity) their seat. Left identified and unfixed, they can cause irreparable damage to your organization.

  1. My Journey From CEO to EOS Implementer® – If you’ve wondered about my background before EOS and what inspired me to become an EOS Implementer, this post lays it all out.

Key Takeaway: As a part of the EOS community, I enjoy the culture of camaraderie and willingness to support fellow EOS Implementers. As an EOS Implementer, I’m not a consultant. I’m a teacher, coach, and facilitator. The answer is always in the room with the people—the leadership and team members. My job is to bring out that answer along the way.

  1. Entrepreneurial Resources Every South Central PA Business Leader Should Know About – I’m fortunate to participate in some remarkable entrepreneurially focused organizations in the local area. This article highlights eight in the Susquehanna Valley that I highly recommend to business leaders.

Key Takeaway: We become stronger leaders when we connect with other leaders and support each other.

  1. Why I’ve Added “ProfitWorks® Certified Coach” to My Resume – In July, I became one of the first seven coaches nationally certified in the ProfitWorks Solution®. I am trained to help business leaders design employee incentive plans that inspire and motivate team members to help their companies achieve their financial goals.

Key Takeaway: Businesses of any size and in any industry can benefit significantly from the ProfitWorks Solution. This certification allows me to expand how I use my knowledge and skills to help business leaders position their organizations for ongoing success.

  1. How My Client Tripled His Business With EOS® and the Right People In the Right Seats – This article highlights how one of my clients has achieved great success by actively working on his People Component over the past 5 years.

Key Takeaway: Trusting in the EOS process and paying close attention to putting the right people in the right seats can take a business from “stuck” to “spectacularly successful.”

  1. Reality Check: A Perspective on Tough Times – This article is a bit of a departure from EOS and entrepreneurship, but it has been one of my most-read posts. I reflect on my 52nd high school reunion and the reminiscing my classmates and I did about what life was like when we were growing up—and how it’s really not all that different now.

Key Takeaway: Every generation has faced difficulties. Every decade brings challenges. While many people complain about how terrible things are today, they should know things were at times worse in the past. We will get through it!

  1. Stop Procrastinating and Achieve Your Vision: Think “Who” Not “How” – Many entrepreneurs and business leaders struggle with procrastination because they get hung up on “How do I do this?” rather than “Who can do this?” In this article, I share tips for embracing a “Who Not How” mindset. I also explain how I get out of my own way and grow my business by entrusting others to do the work that I am not passionate about or skilled at doing.

Key Takeaway: The path to achieving your vision, moving your business forward, and loving your work and life lies in “delegating and elevating” to figure out what you should spend your time and energy on and what you should hand over to others.
